Based in Potomac, Maryland, Dr. Armin Moshyedi has over 23 years of experience as a plastic surgeon. He began his career as a plastic surgery consultant with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda before shifting his focus to the surgical needs of patients in the Washington, DC, area. As a surgeon at Airsculpt, Dr. Armin Moshyedi assists patients with a diversity of needs, including weight loss, body shaping, and more. Dr. Armin Moshyedi’s work has appeared in numerous publications. He has written or contributed to papers and articles published by Washington’s Finest Magazine, Breast Disease, and Operative Techniques in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, among others.
He received his graduate degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. While attending the school, he earned the Hans R. Wilhelmsen Prize for Surgery. He subsequently completed general and plastic surgery residencies at the University of Florida Shands Hospital and the University of Alabama, Birmingham, respectively. He also holds a biology degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
